I am sure it's hard for some people to accept other people's behaviors and habits. However, I can't stop thinking how huge would be if all of us would give in, just a little little bit... to see the others happy.
Is it fair and appropriate to let friends & family know how you feel about certain things? Or it's just better let go and swallow the pain?
I know we won't always agree in everything, but, personally, I try to be the kind of person who doesn't see too much inconvenient going out of my way sometimes, to make someone else (that I care about) happy.
Even if it's about something I am not personally involved or a big fan, or even something I don't think it's the most important thing in the world.
... It's like Reverend Richard used to say, when I "used to go" to church:
"- It's all about relationships ... and Love, I would add to it"

... Eu entendo que muitas vezes eh dificil aceitar o comportamento e habitos de outras pessoas, porem, um pensamento nao me foge a mente:
"- Quao maravilhoso nao seria o mundo, se todos nos contribuissemos um pouquinho na delicada saga de fazer, "ou tentar fazer" as outras pessoas felizes."
Sera que eh apropriado e ok informarmos aos amigos e familiares sobre circunstancias que nos magoam ou ate mesmo irritam?
... Sabe aquelas cosinhas chatas que amigos e familiares insistem em fazer e nos deixam fora do ar? Ou sera que a melhor opcao eh simplesmente contar ate 10 (as vezes ate 1000) e engolir o sapo? Afinal estamos falando de AMIGOS E FAMILIA.
Sei la, por outro lado, justamente por se tratar de pessoas tao proximas da gente, as vezes penso que talvez seria mais indicado agirmos com honestidade e transparencia.
Well, well, well, pra ser sincera, eu nao sei, mas parto do principio de que nao custa nada, (ou pelo menos, muito pouco) sair da rotina algumas vezes so pra fazer um ente querido feliz...
... Ate mesmo quando nao julgamos a tal "coisa" tao importante...

INDICO 1000%... Maridex chiqueterrimo ja havia me dito umas 3x sobre a tal "UGG boots"... Nao dei muita atencao, porque sempre achei sapato/bota bico fino a marca registrada da mulher sexy...
... Ah como eu estava enganada...Bem que se ve que sou "brasileira" hehehe!
Um dia, passeando pela Newbury Street (rua chiquerrima com todas as lojas de grife de Boston), maridex, mais uma vez me mostrou a Tal Bota... eu.. nem tchum...
Ate que, + um inverno em Boston e ...
Puffff! Caio dinovo no bendito drive way aqui de casa... Nao me conformo.. mesmo depois de passar 10 invernos nos Estados Unidos da America, ainda nao caiu a ficha de que preciso de SNOW BOOTS!!!fg
Anyway, resolvi seguir conselho do Maridex e entrei no Site da Victoria Secret pra achar algo legal pra Neve e lindo ao mesmo tempo, porem, pra minha surpresa me deparei com uma quantidade ate que boa de modelos diferentes de UGG Australia e detalhe: bem BONITAS!
Gente, me apaixonei... Literalmente...
Comprei 2 pares (uma marronzinha, de couro e suede - a prova d'gua/snow) e a classica "Chestnut" color with braid... e pele de carneiro)....
A Bendita chegou hoje... agorinha mesmo e quase nao quero tira-la do pe!!!
Amei!!! Vale a pena com certeza gastar $200.00... Vcs nao vao se arrepender...
Fora que elas sao extremamente quentinhas e com tracao na sola (pra neve)... Se eu cair de novo... ai eh pra avacalhar mesmo ne? hihihi!
Essa eh a de couro com suede que pode ir na neve sem problema...

After going through one more awful winter and falling again in our drive way I decided to purchase snow boots...
... I wasn't really looking for UGG boots but I was surprised when I saw them at Victoria Secret website...
I kind of like them.. I ordered a pair of the Classic Braid Ultimate ones (chestnut color) and they arrived yesterday...
... I absolutely loved them!
I can't believe I lived without them for so long.. I also had purchased the leather weather proof ones in the picture above a week ago and I loved it as well!
If you want a suggestion for Boots... I indicate 100% the UGG boots! Any type, any color... They are just so comfortable and stylish!

IZZY'S 1ST DAY AT PRE SCHOOL*
Izzy's first Day at Pre School*
Dan and I would like to thank you all for the lovely emails asking about how was Izzy’s first day at school. It means so much to us !
It was Great!
Izzy and mommy woke up about 7:30 am on Tuesday morning.
It took me a little while to get her lunch, snack, drinks, extra clothes and get her ready to go, but it was so much fun!
While I was doing everything I was supposed to do in order to get her to school, all my pregnancy memories were going through my mind and I was so amazed by the fact that our little girl is big enough to go to school already.
It seems like I met Dan not too long ago! Where did the time go?
We got to the YMCA Newton Program around 8:15 am and she was so overwhelmed by the cute room with all those toys and colorful things hanging everywhere.
Miss Lia (her teacher), was so warm and welcomed Izzy with open arms. After a few minutes of talking and checking Izzy’s spot in the class, it was time to leave and all I said was:
“-Bye sweetie, Mommy and Daddy will pick you up at 1:00 pm, only a few hours from now!”
Her answer:
“- Bye Mommy!”
I could not believe it!
* Dan and I met at the Y around 1:00 and we were able to get into the class room without being noticed by Izzy, and we were able to watch her a little bit!
We were so proud of her!
Miss Lia told us she was so good! She ate her entire lunch (except for her tomatoes) and asked about us 3 times, but was ok with the fact we were coming back to pick her up!
It was an amazing and happy day for all of us!

Eu me levanto toda entusiasmada, vou a cozinha, preparo um lanche fresquinho pra Izzy, preparei seu snack e seus drinkes e fui ao quarto acorda-la.
Ela, como sempre, no maior mau humor, acordou e ja ficou irritadinha que eu estava com a camera nas maos, tirando fotos e gravando o “big moment” rsrsrs.
Chegamos a escola por volta da 8:15 e ela ficou toda encantada com a sala de aula toda colorida e com desenhoss e badulaques por toda a parte!
Senhorita Lia, (a professora) se apresentou, e a recebeu de bracos abertos, mostrou o banheirinho com duas privadinhas e cortininhas pra privacidade das criancas, mostrou onde lava as maozinhas, onde seca, mostrou onde pendura o casaco e a mochilinha… tudo muito colorido e cute!
Depois de acertamos alguns detalhes, chega a hora da separacao.. Coracao aperta… primeira vez que deixo minha filhinhaa numa escola (so com estranhos! Snif, snif! Rs)
Eu olho pra ela e digo:
“- Bye Izzy! Mommy e daddy vamos voltar a uma hora pra te pegar ok?”
Resposta dela:
“- bye mommy!”
Eh mole?
E eu toda chorosa, parti, rumo ao meu carro..
Meio perdida sem saber o que fazer sem meu bebe!!!!
1:00 pm me encontro com maridex no estacionamento da escola, chegamos a tempo de ve-la sentadinha e pudemos observar como ela se enturmou rapido!
A professora disse que ela foi um “docinho de coco”.. .comeu o snack e o lanchinho, exceto pelos tomatinhos que eu coloquei (that figures hum?)
Qdo elas nos viu, abriu os bracinhos e veio correndo ao encontro do daddy que a abracou e cheio de orgulho encheu-a de beijinhos e perguntas!!!!
Que dia maravilhoso! Vai ficar na historia!
Izzy: Parabens filhinha! Estamos muito orgulhosos de voce!

Nao levando em consideracao alguns agravantes, eu posso dizer que foi exatamente o que eu e o Dan esperavamos.
Todo mundo compareceu e as criancas se comportaram (sem sombra de duvidas) melhor que os adultos.
Sentadinhos na mesa principal, pareciam um grupo de homenzinhos e mulheres, comendo num restaurante! So cute! Essa galerinha realmente merece nossos Parabens!
Izzy se divertiu muiiiiito !!! E Nos, nos divertimos so de olhar!
Queria agradecer aos amigos e familiares que compareceram e Meus sinceros agradecimentos pelos presentes generosos e o carinho!

Este ano que passou foi um ano abencoado pra mim e minha familia! (mais um, gracas a Deus)!
A Deus so tenho que agradecer por tudo! Pela SAUDE da minha familia, amigos e minha! Pelas oportunidades recebidas, Pelas bencaos de toda ordem, Pelo carinho dos amigos e da Familia, pelas briguinhas imaturas que me fizeram amadurecer, pelas bobeiras que me fizeram rir, pelo dinheiro juntado e guardado, pelas travessuras da minha filhinha que me emocionaram e me fizeram rir... chorar... pelo meu marido maravilhoso e pe no saco, pelos amigos que me visitaram no meu blog e me deixaram um comentario engracado, profundo ou simplesmente um oi!
Ah Lord, sao tantas as bencaos!
Pra este ano, minha listinha eh grande, mas vou me esforcar, prometo, abaixo deixo registrado alguns objetivos pra este ano:
2009 RESOLUTION:
- Ser Feliz!
- Cuidar mais de mim (inclui ir mais a academia "nao so ficar pagando, hehehe")
- Don't sweat the small stuff! (essa, eu quero ver! kakakaka)
- Atingir meu goal na balanca!
- Gastar menos!
- Trabalhar mais!
- Ir a Disney novamente (com a Izzy this time!)
- Ir ao Brasil
- Voltar a Igreja (passou da hora)
- Ignorar a inveja e sacanagem alheia! (esse povo precisa de reza brava!)
Enfim, Ser uma pessoa ainda melhor! todos nos, temos espaco para Improvement e eu com certeza quero trabalhar DURO no meu este ano!
